Oreo Muffins

If you have Oreos left from from making Oreo cookies last week why not make these fantastic Oreo muffins. So simple and easy but still super tasty.

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 25 mins

Portions: 10 Muffins

Ingredients

  • 160g Butter
  • 160g Caster Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 160g Self Raising Flour
  • 6-8 Oreos quarter
  • 150g Butter
  • 290g Icing Sugar
  • 6 Crushed Oreos
  • 10 whole Oreos

Method

  1. Fist you will need to pre heat your oven to 180c and prepare your muffin tine so you are ready to go
  2. Now you need to take your butter and sugar and beat together until it becomes light and fluffy this will take a good few minutes so I would use a n electric whisk to save your arms if you can
  3. Now you can slowly add your eggs in one at a time, you may need to add a little flour whiles adding the egg to ensure the mixture doesn’t split
  4. Now that is all combined you can fold in your flour a bit at a time then finally add your quartered Oreo pieces and mix again. Now fill your cases as equally as you can and cook for about 25mins until a knife comes out clean
  5. When they are cooking you can now make your icing so take your butter an beat until it becomes light in colour and fluffy now add your icing sugar a bit at a time until it is all combined then finally mix in your crushed Oreos then its done
  6. Make sure your muffins are completely cool before you decorate them. You can do this how ever you like so have fun and enjoy
