Are you stuck on what to make this week then this makes a great mid week meal easy, delicious and not much washing up so even better.
Prep Time:10 Mins
Cook Time:20-25 Mins
Portions: 1 – 4 People
Ingredients
- 75g of Dried Pasta per person
- 1 Chicken Breast per person
- 3 large handfuls of Sliced Mushrooms of your choose
- 1 Tbsp Flour
- 50ml Chicken Stock
- 2 Large Tbsp of Cream Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
Method
- Fist you need to put a pan of water on to boil with a large pinch of salt and put a large pan on to heat up that you can make your dish in
- Now take your chicken and cut into large bit size chucks. I would use 1 chicken breast per person as this makes it easy to scale when you are working out portions. By now your pan should be heated so fry this until it is golden brown and cooked all the way through. Now your chicken is done put to one side and put your sliced mushrooms in and cook. By now your water should be boiling so put your pasta on to cook while you finish your sauce
- Your mushrooms should take about 5 minutes to cook down so after this add your flour and cook out for a few mins then add your stock and cream cheese and cook down for another 5 minutes
- Now your sauce has reduced down you can add your chicken back in and mix together. By now your pasta should be ready so add your pasta mix together well and enjoy. This pasta goes great with a quick flat bread so keep an eye out for that recipe
