Sausage Pasta Bake

If you are looking for a fantastic mid week meal why not give this a go, so tasty and easy to make. And like many of my recipes you can always change it to suite you, so why not try using veggie sausages instead.

Pre Time:10 Mins

Cook Time: 40 Mins

Portions: 4 People

Ingredients

  • Pasta (75 grams per person)
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Pepper
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Packet of your favourite Sausage
  • 1 Carton of passata
  • salt, pepper and paprika
  • Grated Cheese (whatever you like)

Methord

  1. First you need to preheat your oven to 200c and put a pan of water on to boil ready for your pasta
  2. Before your start to make your sauce you will need to put your sausages in the oven to start to cook
  3. Now you can get going on your sauce, take your onion, pepper and carrot and finally dice and crush your garlic
  4. Now take a pan and add a little oil and start to cook your onions until they become translucent then add your garlic, pepper and carrot and cook for a further few mins
  5. You can now add your passata, season to your personal taste and let this simmer for about 10 mins
  6. While your sauce is simmering you can now put your pasta on to cook and don’t forget to check your sausages as they should be cooked by now
  7. By now everything should be ready to put together. So take your cooked pasta and add to your sauce then cut your sausages into large chucks, add them in and mix all together
  8. Now place your pasta into an oven prof dish, top with cheese and cook for 20 – 25mins until golden brown then enjoy!
