Turkey Meatball Pasta Bake

Looking for a mid week meal then look no further. This dish is super delicious and super easy and you can add whatever extras you like to tailor it to you.

Prep Time: 20 – 30 mins

Cook Time: 25 Mins in the oven

Portions: 4 Portions

Ingredients:

  • 1 Packet Turkey Mince
  • Seasoning – Salt, Peppers and Dried Mixed Herbs (and whatever else you like)
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Carrot Finally Diced
  • 1/2 A Pepper Finally Diced
  • 1 Carton Of Passata
  • 75g Pasta per person
  • Grated Cheese of your choice

Equipment you will need

  • 2 Sauce pans
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Large Bowl
  • Over Proof Dish
  • Grater

Methord

  1. First you will need to take your turkey mince and put into a large bowl and season well with salt, pepper and your mixed herbs and whatever else you personally like. Now mix together well and form small meatball with them (a bit smaller than a golf ball) and set a side
  2. Now put a large sauce pan of water on to boil with a large pinch of salt ready for your pasta and also preheat your oven to 200C
  3. Now it’s time to make your sauce so take your other sauce pan and put on a medium heat and add your diced onions and cook until they be come translucent (this will take about 5 mins) then add your garlic, carrot and pepper and cook off for a further few minutes
  4. Now you can add your passata and season and let it simmer for a further 10mins
  5. Whiles your sauce is simmering you can now put your meatballs in the over to cook off and put your pasta on to boil
  6. Ok, so 10 minutes have passed, by now your pasta should be cooked and drained your sauce should be ready and your meatballs cooked. So it’s now time to assemble, take your pasta and pour into your sauce, add your meatballs and mix well.
  7. Now add this to your oven prof dish, sprinkle with cheese of your choice and bake for 25 mins until gold brown and then enjoy!
